Radio problem

Many times the display that showes what station the radio is on and the clock display doesent come on or if it's already on it just dissapears, the radio still works but can't change stations. Sometimes when the light does return the clock has stopped and sometimes it maintains the correct time. If anyone has had this problem I would reall appreciate any info you could give me .
