i swapped out a AM/FM cassette out of my '96 Ranger for a 2001 Explorer AM/FM Cass/CD radio. I wire everything up using the factory wiring schematics and now i have a popping sound in the speakers if the ignition is in the 'ON' position. if the ignition is in the 'ACC' position, it sounds fine. you can hear the popping at low level audio but if u turn the sound up then the music will drown it out. also has a slight 'alternator feed-back' thru the speakers as well.
has anyone else done this swap and had the same problems or know how to fix it?
