radio trouble

for a while every time I would shut off the truck the speakers would make a popping sound, then the other day the radio would not work at all. The radio it self seems to be working fine it's just that no sound comes from any of the speakers, it'll come on every once in a while as im driving down the road like theres a loose wire but cant seem to find one, any help is appreciated.

look for an ground-wire i pretty much bet that that is your problem, the road probebly makes enough vibration to make contact and let it come on.

i don't know much about the factory wire-harness cause when i has the X , and i changed the speakers in it, i also pulled all new wires to it...but i think it's an common ground so you'de have 2 positive wires and 1 negative, but i'm not 100% sure about it.

though it sounds like you have an ground problem.
