Next question, for anyone who has custom radius arms (originals made longer), what is involved here. Is this a cut and weld issue, with some gusseting for strength and then moving the stock mounts backward? Re the mounts, how far back do you know to put them?

Cheers
Dale

Hey Dale, i am in the process of this operation now , i have two ideas going, both are based on the same idea. First the length i am going for is the same length +- 1/2 of the OEM arms from a classic bronco ... cause i later plan to swap a classic bronco dana 44 front in... anyway the second base point is using heim joints on the end versus the oem squeeze bushings. The first idea is basically a direct copy of the zimmermans which is to cut out the old threaded stud and weld on a rod that will show like15-17inches more and goes further down the oem arm for strength. My followup idea is possibly using a rod with threaded ends or adapters to attach tot he oem arm and a joint at the other end. Waiting on parts right now but should come together soon. i'll repost with measurements at a later date.
