Ram assist with stock Ranger Steering Box?

Can I tap my stock box for a hydrolic ram setup???

anyone done it?

Yes, I do believe CoryL did it, and Rick bought that box, and is running it on the Pumpkin. He did have problems with the power steering fluid heating up, and popping off the reseviour cap.

It's not difficult to figure out where to tap, once you've taken the box apart. You look for the where the fluid goes when you turn left/right. There's a piston in there - tap one side for one line, tap the other side for the other line.

I did my FJ60 box a few weeks ago, and it was way easier than I thought it would be to do.
 






I dont imagine it would be very dificult, just need to find out where to tap.
