Did you adjust the shift plate? Small bolt at the rear of the plate on the tranny, loosen it move the plate back a hair and tighten it back up, common problem.

I really appreciate your advice. I made the adjustment and it seems to be working fine. I will get a chance to really test it out this weekend. I had checked the front end, drive shafts, hubs, transfer case, and taken it into a local transmission shop. It cost me $400 for them to tell me that they were not sure what the problem was and they suggested replacing the transfer case. I really appreciate your advice.
