Hi everyone, while my 93 Explorer EB 4x4 w/ auto is running. The noises sound like a bunch of rocks or nuts and bolts is rattling and tumbling inside of the transmission bellhousing area while the truck is in gear forward or reverse. Does not do it that much while in park but can still hear it. Checked the heat shields and it's fine. Can anyone tell me what causes this noise underneath near the bellhousing? Truck was sitting for 3 months because of blown head gaskets and it was finally replaced two days ago and now this horrible noise pops up. Truck is running fine and no leaks except for that dreaded noise. Thanks for any advice.
