Re-placed lower ball joints now vibes

I replaced my lower ball joints last night with lifetime warranty NAPA parts. Finished the job and backed out of driveway only to have this very noticiable vibration in the steering, I noticed it immediatly. I went around the block hoping the suspension needed to settle. Well the vibration never went away.
So today I re-examined my work and all is seems ok, I mean it wasnt a hard job and only took a few hrs. So when I have all four wheels off the ground, in neutral and turn the steering either direction off center I can see the vibration in the wheel/tire. Is it possible that the alignment is now so far off that it vibrates??

If the vibration is only when turning, you probably have air in the power steering. It should go away within a few miles. Turning the wheels while doing the ball joints can cause air to enter the system.

It can sometimes be easy, more often it's not. If you did nothing else to the front end then go with air in the PS. You should also have the alignment checked after ball joint work.

Is there anything that may/could have occured to the cv shafts?? Id love it if it was just air, im just afraid to drive it, id hate to damage something.

Jack up the front end so both wheels are off the ground, start the engine and crank the wheel both directions several times. Or just drive it, you see a difference if it is air, which I suspect it is.

express has it right. if its in the power steering turn the wheel back and forth but dont max it out. might want have the alignment checked just in case but at a stand still that shouldnt cause your car to vibrate. the only thing i can think of is power steering.
