Rear Axle Diameter?

Does anyone know the diameter of the rear axle tube (not shaft) on a 1997 off hand? I'm looking to get spring over mounts.

Is it the same as a similar year Ranger?

I've found these in 2.5 - 3.25"

The answer is in your link (look at the 2nd paragraph in the Ford 8.8 install kit section) - 3.25"
