I recently installed a Ford round tube hitch on my 2001 X Sport. The install went fairly well after I visited Sears and got the correct sockets instead of the ones suggested on the instruction sheet. Anyway, now that things are all together, I took a look and the rear bumper is aiming "down", meaning the trailing edge looks like it is lower than the edge bolted to the truck. I loosened things and shuffled them around, but I can't get the bumper to sit level.
I drove my wife wife flipping crazy looking at the rear bumpers of every x in the mall parking lot to compare them to what I was trailing. It looks like most are either level or the trailing edge is a bit higher.
Ok, cut to the chase, does anyone know how I can adjust the bumper? I have tried the 4 bolts (2 on each side) on the frame and I can't think of anything else.
Thanks in advance!
