sweet looking bumper make it try it and tells how it works BTW how long did that take to do? I use pro-engineer and that would have taken a while again nice job

I use AutoCAD 2008 and I am a little rustic on 3D as for it has been almost a decade now since I have actually mechanically designed something. Anyways it took around 6 hours to design it in 2D and 3D. Should be faster for the front bumper whenever I get the time for it.

How ya gonna replace taillights?

Now if you replaced the center tube section with a solid rectangular box design or even flat sheet metal behind the back bars (tubes show off rusty frame), i'd be interested in paying you for supplies and your time.

take the bumper off.

As answered by fischerry, the only way I see to replace the the taillights would be to remove the bumper, but I don't see a reason for the taillights for going out alot so I thank I can deal with that problem. I will just make sure that I replace all the lights each time I remove it.

Something I am surprised that no one has brought up is the fact that on the 2nd Gen Explorer, the turn signal has its own light which is located at the top on the light assembly. In the case I have designed the tube to cross this light will require me find another location for the turn signal markers. My thoughts are to rewire the reverse lights as the new turn signals markers and replace the clear bulb with a orange bulb. I will then install some reverse light underneath out of the way of obstruction so I can see when backing up.
