It seems every time i leave my truck parralell parked overnight, the driver's side of the rear bumper is pushed in in the morning. This has happened twice so far, and i haven't a clue why. Well i know that someone is trying to get out and tapps my bumper, but how hard does it need to to actually push it in? There is no paint scratches, which really has got me thinking as to how light a tap would cause it to push in.

it pushes in?? what do you mean by in. Up Down Left and Right are all controled by the bolts that hold it on.

the left side is pushed forward about an inch more then my right side. its getting annoying because i happen to be very **** about it

They would have to do more then a light tap to push it in. you can try loosening the bolts and fixing it.

i plan on it. the thing that gets me is that the bumper was replaced since last time it happened. all the brackets and bolts were replaced too. i'm just trying to figure out if it was a fluke, or whether it was a common problem

i'd say park somehwere else if possable...or get a trailer hitch reciever and leave the ball sticking out so next time someone gets too close they get a trailer ball in their front bumper....it'll teach them :D
