Rear Dash Camera Mount options? I upgraded to a VioFo A229Pro with the rear camera option ...I ran the cable back and now have an issue that maybe one of you have already faced. As I have tint over my OEM glass and don't want to stick that great 3M tape to it and have it rip off when either the camera fails or it's time to upgrade. Since the Explorer doesn't have a plastic surround of the opening (at the top) just fabric headliners.... any other solutions you have used? I see on Etsy that for the 4Runners they have one that replaces their mounting hardware but ours doesn't have a "screw" at the top center....

I just had to stick it to the rear glass. No other options unfortunately.

You may be able to get away with using a 3M Command strip instead of double sided tape--but on the glass is about your only option.

Worth a try, certain less likely to damage/remove the tint
