The rear hatch on my '05 explorer sqeaks and rattles and I need a way to fix it. It is especially bad when I turn corners in parking garages (uneven surfaces). It's almost as if the body is twisting and the rear hatch is getting caught in the middle. Any ideas? oh yeah, and i do not have subs in it.

Are you sure it's the hatch and not the rubber bushings in the rear suspension? Does it stop squeaking if you drive with the hatch open? If it is the hatch, then you might try putting some armorall on the rubber gaskets around the hatch opening.

Try tightening the spare tire cable. I have had a simular situation caused by the tire not being fully raised.
