Rear Seat

I have a 96 4-door with a 60/40 rear bench. The 40 part folds down nicely, but the 60 part will not fold. When I press the lever, the side on the door starts to fold, but the other side of the section will not move. The seat still reclines fine. I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem or knows how to fix it.

The problem is that the cable has too much slack and does not have the "pull" to release the latch. I have the same problem in my 96 Limited 60 seat. When I swap the seat to my 95 I will work on a cure.
