rear springs swap

I have a '98 Sport with the monoleaf springs and want to swap them with the spring pack from a four-door model. Are there only certain years that will work for this swap, and is it just a simple replacement of one with the other? Thanks for any info on doing this. Michael

Hey

Any year will work and it will lift your rear about 1.25". I used springs from a 97 XLT. See this install project.

Mine only lifted mine about 1/2". Depends on how far sagged your monoleafs are. Definately a recommended mod though.
