hey wuts up everyone?

im lowering my explorer right now as we speak and when i tryed to put the u bolt around it it wouldnt fit around the axle it self. but then i pounded it down and now the u bolt wont match up with any of the holes on the shock mount. someone please help is there any way up compressing the u bolt to make it fit or does anyone know the size of the u bolt i will need so it will work. please respond back asap

the trick is to not pound it onto the axel. first thread it through the holes in the shock mount. then pound it onto the axel. pounding it onto the axel first will not let you squeeze the ends together.
just let it sit above the axel a few inches. and take off the lower bolt that holds the shock on and let that dangle. then you can mess with the shock mount. its easy to put the shock back on.

I'm assuming you're using new U-bolts. you're gonna need to make sure the ones you're using are the right size. Sounds like they're too small.

yeah i think there to small because there still not fitting
