After driving some stop and go style driving, my rear wheels are significantly hot. Judging by a quick touch test I'd say they are hotter than the front wheels.

I jacked the rear axle up and spun the wheels- they seem to spin freely with a slight brake drag from the rear caliper which I would consider a normal amount.

Is this heat normal? I've been considering removing the rotors and checking to make sure the parking brake isn't hanging up. Any other ideas?

Thanks.

Normal... Well, I couldn't say. Your rear disks don't cool as quickly as your fronts, but then again, they don't get heated as much, so normally speaking, they shouldn't get hotter than your fronts. I guess it could be that they would warm up more.... like I said, they have less area to dissipate heat...

Tire pressure equal all around?

Tom, I guess you already know how bad those parking brakes rust...not saying that is your problem, but it never hurts to give them a once over.
