rear window

[Damn window]

I have a 2000 explorer and the driver side rear window will roll down but not back up. I tried a new regulator but that is not the problem. At one point it had 12 V on the roll down side of the plug in the door and only 5V on the roll up side of the plug. I tried replacing the switch in the door and that was not it either. Could it be the switch on the driver's door? I spent most of new years eve and new years day fighting this frustrating problem so any advice would be much appreciated.

If you have a test light or ohm meter see if there's power comeing to and from the switch.

yes there is power to and from the switch, when the switch is in the "roll up" position there are only 5.5V getting to it.

Welcome to the forum! There might be an issue with the switch because you should be pushing out 12volts.
