Rear Wiper Motor

For those of you that have replaced your rear wiper motor, has the replacement motor lasted any longer than your original motor? Mine worked for about two years (used maybe six times) and then stopped. My problem is definitely the motor but I don't want to spend the time and money to fix this only to have it quickly burn out again. However, I have this compulsion to repair anything that is broken on my Ex so your feedback will be appreciated. Thanks.

I say, take it off permanently and go for the shaved look. Trust me you won't even miss it.

My first one shorted out within a few months of buyin it in late 98..still runnin strong on the second one (which after this post, will cease to function)
I dont hardly ever use it though
