I am not an upfitter. This was a crashed 2020 hybrid with new airbags installed (other than passenger knee bag and passenger front bag) and resistance confirmed to be 2-3 ohm in forscan. RCM module confirmed to have been cleared with no crash flags in forscan. For some reason when I try to write asbuilt data in forscan it says "too many blocks" or something to that tune. I've also flashed the module using FDRS. Passenger airbag seems to be the issue. Passenger airbag light and seat weight scale is operational.

These are the codes keeping the airbag light on. Its the final piece of the puzzle for the entire car.
B0010 Passenger frontal stage 1 deployment - open circuit
B0011 Passenger frontal stage 2 deployment - open circuit

This is an issue I'm facing. There are non-factory pigtails and splits from wires coming directly from the left hand small connector for the RCM. At the end of those split wires are two connectors that are not oem, presumably for some sort of console or police upfitted equipment. I can upload a picture later today.

Does anyone here know of what that plug and harness could possibly be and if there is a simple way to revert this rcm harness back to normal? Does anyone here have a link to the wiring diagram for a 2020 hybrid piu? Could this be why I am getting open circuit errors when the car detects the airbags resistance. Thanks.

Problem solved: First off, I diagnosed the resistance of all SRS airbags through forscan (2-3 ohm range) so I realized it's for sure not my airbags or connectors to the airbags.

Turns out yes that connector that was spliced into the left side RCM harness (for what I assume was police upfitting purposes) broke the connection between two separate wires. I'm thinking if I still had the police module that plugged into there the airbag light would not be on because it would create a circuit. Simply cutting off the extra harness and using a solder heat-shrink to splice the SRS wires back together turned off the SRS airbag light and the code was gone after clearing. I was very cautious and ensured the connection was good. I carefully wrapped the heat-shrink solder portion with a single wrap of electrical tape to provide more abrasion resistance. Finally, I used your average wiring harness fuzzy tape to bundle the wires back together (making sure not to bundle them tightly.) The goal is for this fix to be as safe as I can make it since it is an SRS module.

Hope this helps someone out there, the airbag troubleshooting from this video was a godsend
