I work at a Lincoln/Mercury (and Chevy, Buick, Nissan, Honda, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep.. big place) dealership so I'm around new Mountaineer's all the time. I understand this is an entirely different platform but damn these new ones are silent compared to my 115k mile mounty. Anyone do anything to there RBV to make it more of a comfortable silent ride? There are so many directions to go, but checking who's done what.

Well on the short drive home tonight (over some horrible Lancaster roads be it) I noticed right away a large source of noise. The console rattles like its hell bent on coming apart. I figure I'll hit up the hobby shop to source some of that extremely thin felt/velvet stripping that you find on the back of most bezels and removable interior trim panels. Without the console rattles/vibrations I can then tune to less prominent noises in the cab.

thats a good idea man, if u try bugflectors and wind guards, they might help as they send air over the car instead of smack-dab into it ha. thats all i can think of sorry
