Reliability of 6R60 transmission compared to 5R55W / 4R70W

I'm pretty familiar with the 4R70W and 5R55E/W transmissions from the 2nd and 3rd gens and their issues. How does the new six-speed auto compare in terms of reliability and longevity? Thanks all!

Like any other trans, it has its quirks. 06 to 08 was 6R60, 08 to 10 is 6r80. They need to be serviced just like any other auto trans, most people don't do this on a regular basis.

You can tell the difference by looking at the bottom of the pan. 60 has a flat bottom, 80 has a slight sump, like the 5r55e and 4r70w.
