removing interior panels

hello everyone, its been a while but i have a problem. a buddy of mine dropped something inside the rear panel he really needs back. I dont know how, but his bracelet fell in thru were the seatbelt goes thru the panel on the rear passenger side (the hole the seatbelt goes thru to wear its bolted im guessing). Kan anyone explain how, or point me to a write up of how, to remove this panel so i kan get it for him? i know its just a matter of undoing it, its just raining real bad and i kant really check right now so i figured id ask the experts. thanks for the help

I am assuming you mean the quarter pannel trim ?

Start from the back of the vehicle. Remove the sill plate that goes across the bottom of the truck. That is a simple lift and pull. Start at one end ( either end and go across. ) That was the easy part. I am doing this from memory from my 2000 2door sport so there might be some variances but this will get you in the ball park.
There are several "christmas tree" clips to remove. Not all of them are the same size so make a note of which came out of where. There will be a few either phillips screws or 7mm screws going downward into the body of the truck. Remove them. There is a garmet hanger that has a 5.5mm screw. Remove that. Remove the seat belt hanger, I believe it is a torx45. Also remove the seat belt anchor at the bottom.
Now go back to the back and start to shimmy the trim pannel inward toward the center of the vehicle. Once you get it away enough go to the door opening and pull towards you ( towards the front of the vehicle )
All done right the pannel should be free enough for you to move it around enough to get back to where you need to be.
Watch out for the wires to the lock button at the back.
