Removing my Console so i can paint, Question!

Hey everyone! Im taking my cab apart so i can paint it tomorrow! Im stuck on the center console... Everywhere I've read it says just yank the cupholder/ tray right out.... Ive given it the ol' heave ho, for about 20 minutes now, is there a special way to pull it out? Or do i just need to eat some wheaties?

SUCCESS! Gave it another try! The trick is to pull up and forward close to the armrest

I had to kinda squeeze it and then pull. The cup holders aren't bolted down, but the way in which they are secured threw me for a loop as well! Glad you got it figured out.
