I know this is a completely stupid question. But how the F do I remove the rear bumper? It's alot more difficult than I thought it was.

remove both taillights and remove the small silver bolts in those spots under them that connects to the bumper then pull up on the bumper and it should pop out on either side... if u need anymore help ill try my best for giving advice

if you do that youll bve missing more bolts and stuff. search my posts and you find a detailed description on how to do it

you cannot remove the running board w/o taking off the bumper. first take out the taillights. there is one screw under each one that needs to come out. after that you must take out about ten of those black clips that hold on the bumper by the weatherstrip. then under the truck at the very bottom where the bumper meets the truck there is one screw on each side. after that you should be able to lift up on the bumper where it meets the body and pull it off. be carefull not to let the bumper fall and rip the harness for the sensors. that should be it.
p.s. i tokk off my bumper, cleaned every contact and sensor, and it still doesnt work.
Quoted so I won't lose it..
Thanks.

forgot about the black rivets and the screws on either side... my apologies... been a while since ive taken it off
