Removing serp belt on a 02 explorer

I changed my tensioner the other day but when I tried to remove the old belt, I noticed the fan clutch bolt was in the way. How do i remove the belt? I have a 02 explorer 4.0 xls

What do you mean it was in the way? the belt should just come right off, when placeing back on make sure you pull the tensioner in have the belt on all the pullys, then slip the belt UNDER the belt pully.. there should be nothing in the way,, the belt should come off without takeing apart anything.. hope this helps.. make sure you remove the upper rad hose, I did not and when I pulled on the tensinor to get the belt on --you have to go pretty far I snapped my plstic intake off the rad, then had to replace the RAD, that was a bad day
