Removing spare tire?

Just wonding if some of the guys that focus on milage remove the spare tire as a minuite effort to get better milage. -60lbs

Running w/out a spare is a bad idea IMO. Might if your lucky save a buck on gas, but when you blow one you'll lose it all on having to get a tow or tire brought to you.

I ditched mine awhile ago too, and just recently put it back in. Couple days ago I ran over a bigass screw, and i'm glad i had my spare.

I agree, keep that tire on the truck, you won't save as much as you think and lets face it, if you blow out a tire you won't be getting any milage. It would be a PITA to be left with no spare.
