Well I thought I would update you all with the repair services provided from my local Ford dealer, to resolve my concerns with the low idle engine rattle. Free of charge!!!
What did they do:
Removed upper and lower intake manifolds, replaced oil gallery rod, reinstalled. Noise still there!
next:
Removed engine.
Replaced serpintine belt (to short)
Replaced timing chaine cassette (front & rear).
Replaced broken Jack Shaft Guide.
Tensioner.
waterpump gasket
Cover assy.
oil pan gaskets.
V-belt
And more gaskets...
Reinstalled engine, noise gone. engine idle is normal.
Then:
Complimentary ext wash & chamois!
Note made: May apply charges for excessive amounts of pat hair. (what ever!)
The dealer paid 25%
Ford paid for the remainder cost.
Done...
Cheers!
