Replaced driver's side door handle, but it still won't open the door...

The new handle is in and seems to be working fine, but it doesn't open the door. I had to replace the original handle of my 2005 Sport Trac due to one side of it breaking off.

Everything is back where it was (rod, yellow clip), but I've got to be missing something...can anyone help? :confused:
 






Nevermind guys! I just adjusted the position of the rod in the clip and it's working just fine now!!
