I posted a thread a few weeks back about the way to go in replacing an engine with three cracked heads....
I went the 'cheap' route - since I'm only planning on keeping this truck for another year, I had another one put in that had 65,000 on it from a 94 Explorer. I've been driving it for a few days, it's riding good, the only thing is my mechanic mentioned to me that I would need a ego sensor - this is causing the 'check engine' light to come on/stay on after driving about 15 miles or so....it said it wasn't serious but I just wanted to ask some experienced Ford owners if they ever had to replace this type of sensor on their trucks and I have one really dumb question regarding the mileage - I can't see the 65,000 on the odometer, am I suppossed to? Is this a dumb to ask, sorry if it is.
