Replacement Shock Bushings?

I replaced my long-dead OEM shocks with Edelbrock IAS's...but the new Edelbrock bushings are not as "thick" as the OEM Ford bushings, leving a little play between the cross bolt and the bushing. Basically, my truck rattles like hell now as the shocks bounce on the cross bolts.

Who offerers shock bushing kits for us? (Besides Edelbrock)

let me know if you find them, I have a set of edelbrocks that are about 4 yrs and the lower bushings are toast.

I found a few from Summit, but would like to hear what brands others on the forum have used successfully.

No one has replaced their shock bushings before? Help us out!

Found out that Ford no longer offers replacement bushings through their parts department; you have to go aftermarket.

New question: What is the diamerter of the cross-bolt in our shock mounts? Daystar and Energy Suspensions both offer bushings, but do it by size. I'm guessing in 5/8"?

I'm not sure what the diameter is, but I just replaced my shocks with Rancho RS5000s and the bushing size was exact, so if you called Rancho customer support I'm sure they could tell you the size, it should be in their cataloge.

Call Rancho and see if they will sell you a set. When the upper bushings on my RSX's exploded Rancho sent me some free so they do have a kit (came with upper two bushings, washers and nut). They asked me if I wanted a set for the lowers but they were fine so I said no. They sent me bushings stiffer than the ones that came with the RSX's so be sure to ask about that.
