My rear hatch has had it (completely broken) and the local u pull it and only one hatch in good condition from a 95. The shape of the hatches is identical and it bolted right up and with some adjustment of the hinges will be a perfect fit. The difference is in the electrical. The same number of wires, but rather than two wire bundles (left and right) there is only one bundle on the left with the same amount of wires but different colors.
Some are obvious like the thickest wire is the defrost, the black is the ground, and the two pink wires are the lock motor. I don't know what the glass latch pair, the hatch latch pair, or the CHMSL pair is.
You guys don't happen to know what colors go where on the 95 so that I can match them to the 91?
What's the best way to remove the plastic lining so that I can access the wiring and see what wires go where? (This will be best since I need to swap lock tumblers too).
I would like to do a how-to with pics.
