Okay - I know this has been covered a few times and I have searched quite a bit on here looking for specific info. Can someone please answer the following questions:

1. How do I get the stock sub out. I really don't want to have to remove the entire panel in the back. So far I have removed the grill cover and the eight bolts that hold the sub in place, but it won't come out. Is their a trick or am I going to have to remove the entire back panel?

2. I want to replace the sub with an aftermarket one. It looks like JBL or JL is popular. I would orefer one that didn't require a lot of modification and produces the best sound utilizing the factory amp.

3. Finally, I moved my aftermarket mp3 player from my old explorer to my new one. I don't have wiring for the sub or the power antenna. It looks like crutchfield sells a harness that will work with as it has a seperate harness for the sub. Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks in advance!

As far as not taking the panel off goes your out of luck. The entire panel must come off to get that sub out of there. You will need a T-40 as I remember it to get the rear seat belt off, you also need a deep small socket, (i forget which size) to get the clothes hanger off. The rest is just snaps things. Also you will need a philips for 2 bolts that hold the panel to the floor. Once you have all that done you need to take the Sub Enclosure out of the truck. With that done you will find a single bolt that goes into the dead center of the sub. For question number 2, you need an 8" sub I recomened a Rockford Punch mine rocks. As for your last question no idea...Good Luck

I recommend the 8" JL Audio W1V2-4. Perfect fit. You will just have to drill new mounting holes is all.
