As most of you know, I haven't had a front emblem, well, for months. And pictures don't show it, but the middle part of the grille shell is scratched up pretty bad from the speed grille slipping. So, I had ordered two black emblems from Scott Deel (you're right Ronnie, was well worth it), and have a new grille shell on its way right now. Hopefully now I can install the speed grille correctly as I did it while the shell was on the vehicle last time, should be ALOT easier off the truck.
Speaking of which, Ally, if you read this (I know you're hardly on due to family emergencies), mind tossin' some tips of an easier/better install? Much appreciated. =)
Anyways.. here's the goodies that came in the mail today..
Ok, so it's a little busy here and I'm having a little fun, but you get the idea.
And on the trail of good news, finally removed all my overspray for when the truck went into the body shop, but it looks like I'll be having my hood re-sprayed soon here. I had my guy check out the hood and driver door for color mismatch, and it looks the previous owner had them both repainted, as you can start to see the DA sanding scratches below the top clear. In about 6 months, I could expect checkering of the old/new, so it just means new paint. I mean, you can't even tell if I didn't tell anyone, I'm just a neat freak (as you can tell) and find this stuff pretty bluntly.
