My Nikon D7000 takes pictures that are stored on a card. The pictures can be transferred to a computer or another memory device for viewing. No more film. You can put almost an endless number of pictures on a card and you can delete them or if put on your computer, you can edit or do whatever you want with them. No more dropping film off at the store and waiting to see how they turned out. I suggest that you get a small digital camera to see what you are missing.
