I dont have these but i have heard these in my friends firebird and he has them running off a rockford fosgate 120.2 amp and than sound really nice. The tweeters are loud as hell. The mid bass is decent a little to punchy for my tastes. I believe best buy has this component set or one step down go and check them out for yourself. I have the Infinity kappa 60.5cs 6 1/2 Components running of a rockford fosgate 100.2 and i like them. tweeters are not to loud and the bass isnt really punch. Sorry havent heard the jl audio components you stated though. Im not sure what your budget is but i have heard the jl audio gti and those are awesome! I didnt feel like shelling out $350 yet though.
