rough idle

My '94 exp is idling rough and even drops rpms sometimes as i'm driving. I do remember a tech telling me something was sinking, some valve or another.... i was seeing if any of you might know what he was talking about. they said it wasn't major at the time and i was broke so i neglected it and i'm pretty sure that's what screwing me now.... any help is greatly appreciated.

You might want to try a Sea Foam treatment.

I have the same issue, due to my plugs fouling out. The best thing that I have found...change the plugs.
