I got a rounded bolt on the bottom bolt on the tensior pully on the 5.0. Any help on removing it? I am about to give up and take it to a shop.

External EZ Out

Not enough room for that. Were talking less then 4" of space to work with

The external easy-outs don't take up any more room than a socket. They have teeth inside that grip the rounded edges. AutoZone sold a set of them (4-5 sizes) and I'm sure other places sell them also. I think they were made by Irwin.

I went and bought the Irwin set and it did not work. Its either it doesnt work or I cant do it laying in the dirt with barley enough clearance to get my hands in there.

If anyone ever runs into this problem this is how you will have to solve it.

You have to unbolt the whole bracket from the head (3 Bolts) One you have to move a water pump bypass house

Use a blow torch to heat up the bolt, Then hammer on the Irwin Bolt Extractor 10mm
