I've got a 95 XL and I'm thinking of taking one of the heating vents located above the stereo area in the center of the dash and blocking off everything in there to use it as a place to put a new piece of stereo equipment/in dash LCD. Just wondering if theres any potential heat issues, any materials you recommend I use, or if you strongly recommend against this. As it is now, the vent isn't exactly the hottest blower in the truck and shouldn't be a huge issue but I'm posting to hear the voice of experience here.
