I bought a '98 Mountaineer for my mother in law a few years ago. Its been a very good truck so far, Only had to replace the starter. It has a pretty rusty undercarrage. We've had two pin hole problems with brake lines so far. My uncle had sectioned the bad/problem areas but this is just going to keep acouring.
What do you guys think I should do? I want to replace all the lines. But I don't know exactly how much work I'm getting into since I've never had to do this before. I'm very firmilar with these trucks otherwise. But never had to replace brake lines before. I'd rather not spend extra money to have them pre-bent from a company. If you guys have any articles or write ups on this that would help me out alot.
I Don't want to sell the truck either. Its extreamly clean and has been a great truck otherwise. I take very good care of it.
