I decide that this week my old rusted explorer will have it's last ride to the wrecker. She'll be missed

I plan to replace it with a second generation, I hope.

I plan on taking it to Direct Auto, it's the closest place to me. I cannot see many useful parts on her anyways, they'll buy it for scrap.
 






i work at mandak in selkirk, and right now they pay about $50 a ton. scrap has taken a dive in the last few months. but, if it has a blue interior, and the center console arm rest is good, i am interested in it.
 






Sorry, not blue. Direct offered $150, my wife wants it gone as it just has been sitting there for over a year! I have a company vehicle these days.

This one I have is a 92, do the second genereations have the same rust problems? I going to have to start reading up on them.
