hi everyone just checking in,bought a 93 eddie bauer 4x4 about 3 weeks ago .It has 140 000 miles on ,had to pull the a4ld tranny out of it and put a new bushing,front seal,pump gasket,and converter in it as the old one had grooves on the shaft.The bw1354 transfer case was not going in to the 4x ranges.I didn't test the electrical pins to the motor but took a $15 gamble on a used motor from the wreckers.The case seemed to dog in to the 4x gears on the bench and the new motor worked.Changed plugs ,wires,and the driver's side valve cover gasket thankfully the passenger's didn,t leak.Also had to fool around with the exaust. Don't know if i am going to do any mods to it but i would like to make her run a little smoother and get a little better gas mileage ,if at all possible. hi again
