Same injectors?

I bought a set of rebuilt injectors for my '86 2.9 Ranger that I never got around to installing. I now have a '94 4.0 Explorer. I thought the guy I had bought the injectors from said that the injectors for the 4.0 were the same ones they use in the 2.9.

Can anyone confirm this?

There are id numbers on the injectors...

The numbers need to be researched and checked for their application...It is possible for one set of injectors to have multiple uses...

Post them and someone will verfiy them or you can do the same...

the number on the injectors are F47E-A2F (A2E?). another one says F03E-A2B

Part numbers are different 15505 for Ranger and 15506 for Explorer, but they both reference the same fig.3 picture as an example.

Anyone know what the lbs rating of the injectors for these vehicles were?
