Just wondering how difficult the rear parking brakes are to do for a first time DIY? Also, how long should it take someone for the first time?

Any procedure write-ups, pic's? Checked the search function with no results...
I know this is a common issue with the X, but nothing in the search???

Thanks in advance!

Rear disc 1-10 is a 3
Rear drum 1-10 is a 4.
This is assuming you have basic mechanical skill.
( and a nice set of jack stands )

the rear e/parking brake is just like a standard drum brake... however the parts are a lot smaller...

Cool thanks!!! :bounce:

I'll put er up tomorrow, and take a shot at it.

Cheers! :chug:

i looked at it when i had my rotors off. didn't attempt it. lots of little springs and it looked different then the haynes manual.
