HI FELLOW FORD owners. Own a 04 XLT Explorer. Great truck,bought as new left over in 05.Engine runs great, doesn't burn a drop of oil. Ok new to this site, HOW many owners of suv's have that FAMOUS CRACK down rear door near FORD EMBLOMEM ? OK ON SERIOUS NOTE, PO 193 CODE KEEPS POPPING UP. According to manuel some Fords don't have a way to check fuel pressure. LIKE MINE.NO signs of rich gas exhaust,just a quick sputter when giving gas.Then lite comes on.SHOULD I REPLACE FUEL RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR?

IF it was my explorer i would replace the fuel filter, and see if that resolves the sputter issue then failing that the fuel pump,then the sensor. What have you done so far?

Just changed the filter,pretty rusted.Wife said engine light just came on,with sputter.

Added Lucas fuel cleaner, truck runs fine otherwise.Correction engine light came on without hesitation. Thanks
