The white wire in the pinout diagram for the analog port on the X3 is labeled "+5 Ext"

What do I do with this wire when connecting to the LC-1 wideband oxygen sensor?

+5 Ext whats it mean?

I am thinking that 5 volts leaves the X3 to be used on resistance based sensors. Like temperature sensors.

I am just going to leave it unconnected for now.

analog connection

I had the same question about the 5 volts but learned it wasn't needed for connecting to my wideband A/F ratio analog output. I only needed the positive and negative connections. The LiveLink software has the cabability to scale the analog signal so you can display the A/F ratio instead of the absolute voltage.
