seat and auto lights not working, radio wont shut off!

so the other day i went to jump in the 2003 explorer and the seat wouldnt move. then i noticed the auto lights wouldnt turn on,lights dont come on when i open the door and the radio wont shut off. Ive searched for info but only thing i can come up with is fixes for the f150 with the same problem. everyone is saying its more than likely a bad wire under the sill plate in the rear.anyone have any other ideas before i go ripping stuff apart?

Try having you battery checked. Weak batteries can wreak havoc on electrical systems. If tests good, disconnect the negative terminal for 10 minuets. Worth a shot. Oh, check ALL fuses as well.
