seat loosing lumber pressure

hi there, my explorers lumber in the seats on both are loosing pressure when i pump the lumber, iv tried checkin to see if theres splits or pin holes that could couse this, but no luck, does the seat have a valve that opens incase too much pressure is applied? has any one else had this trouble? reagrds steve

If it isn't the bladders, the most likely culprit are the hard plastic lined that run from the pump. Check where they route around and through the metal seat frame- mine had rubbed through in a few places, and I had to repair/replace them.
 






thanks for the reply, other fords i had use a pad to push out but i was unsure what to really look at here, cheers!
 






If you are pressing the button and the pump is just making a noise with no inflation than try under the switch, sometimes the air line comes loose and causes this.
 






For both seats to have the same problem, I would check farther down the line, like the air compresser valve.
