I'm swapping seats in my 02 ST. Original seats are leather (drivers side is power and passenger side is manual).
I'm putting in a set of 03 ST leather seats (both power with heat).
The problem is my wire pig tale to the drivers seat has only two wires (one black and the other white/black) and my pig tail I cut from the junk yard with the 'new' seat has a 5 wire pig tail for each seat.
Pig tail colors:
  • Black (thick wire)
  • Green (thick wire)
  • Yellow with blue stripe (thick wire)
  • Gray with yellow stripe (thin wire)
  • Red with black stripe stripe (thin wire)

What do the colors do?
How do I hook up the drivers side?
How do I hook up the passengers side?

Please help. My wife is getting a little impatient with the project. I'm sure that no one has experienced that ;)

I filled in where I could. My diagram shows a light blue/white for constant power for the heated seat

thank you! I guess the other wire is constant power to the heat switch.

thank you, the diagrams showed up fine. I ended up only hooking up the power seat portion which moves the seat and controls the lumbar.
Since I live in Florida I stayed away from the heated portion which consists of: Yellow with blue stripe (thick wire), Gray with yellow stripe (thin wire) IGNITION, and Red with black stripe stripe (thin wire) ILLUMINATION.
I jumped a wire from the ground and the power (green) to the passenger seat. Both seats work (finally). Thanks for the help.
